Winter X Games, oh yeah it's on!

Ahh it's that time of year again, when the biggest game in action sports hits the snow. Winter x Games 13 has just begun and we've got some good Kiwi representation this year. Wanaka local boys and Oakley and Skullcandy team riders Jossi and Byron Wells are both competing this year. This will be Byron's first time at X and he's well deserving with some great results and solid riding over the last year. Jossi will be looking to improve on his 5th placing at last years Winter x Games. Good luck to both of them in the Superpipe.
Speaking of results, Base teamrider Mack James riding for K2 Snowboards, Smith Optics and Sessions has just notched up a gold medal at the US Junior Nationals series at Copper Mountain in the 14 -15yr age group. This has qualified him for the US Jr Nationals, Congrats Mack from the whole BASE Crew. Also competing at the same event was BASE Team rider Tim Herbert riding for Ride Snowboards Smith Optics and Groovstar Outerwear has scored a good 4th placing in the 11-13yr age group.Nice work Tim, keep ripping.
