Here Comes the SNOW!!

Ah, the fabled white gold has been falling hard down Wanaka way over the last few days. Some pics from this morning show the ranges heavily coated, Treble Cone is in there with plenty of coverage. Word from Cardrona is there is heaps of snow, enough for an avalanche to block the access road this afternoon even, very nice. They say, snow in May never stays, but i'm betting this'll be the winter that proves that saying wrong.
here's hoping anyway.
