Fresh already??

It was a fresh 8 degrees this morning with winter feeling not too far away, especially after spending the week ordering outerwear and snowboard boots and bindings from the likes of Burton, K2, Ride and 686. Just letting you all know i'm heading off for 10days of sunshine(hopefull) in the coromandel so you won't hear from me for a wee while, and of course my off sider amy is out till march. Thought i'd srop in a track i caught on C4 the other night, Uk rapper Motley, this track has great flow and is quite funny, a good one to start the weekend

Vail snow at last..

Las Vegas is done and at last we are where we do best... in the snow. Time to pull out the new toys, the new Rossignol super 7's. We arrived and picked up our truck and off to the hills.

Been feeling a bit jaded after long days and nights in Vegas but nothing like a few vitamins to get ya right. Went riding down in Snow mass and now doing the days Vail styles. Hooked up with Cuz, Cailey and JP aka BASE crew and staying with lil' Kev another ex BASE crew member been riding lines and shown the local haunts.

Also out doing the never ending job of spreading the BASE love aka gorilla marketing evidence along with some great riding shots to come soon.

Vegas dayz....

Tradeshow in Las Vegas is a great time for the gear head, so many toys, so many brands so much BLING!

Days are intense with much to see, Hamish had appointments lined up along with new brands and gear to check out. POW gloves were crankin' with their stand crazy busy and constantly busy. The boys from POW put him in touch with the crew from BERN helmets another brand thats smokin right now....watch this space in NZ in the future. The helmets are SIC and cross over to skate and bike.

Skullcandy Headphones were going huge and definitly had the party going on at there stand, even had old Snoop dog there one night to play a show. Bumped into a legend in extreme skiing at the show... none other than MR GLEN PLAKE had a chat and got a photo with the man himself, stoked !

It was good times meeting all the ARMADA crew. Hans took us through the range and all the good shit to come. JP ands the boys are still at the fore front of the evolution of twintip skis. The new JP vs Julian selling out worldwide. After checkin out the goods we got into a few beers to celebrate the launch of ARMADA's new outwear line then food more beers and on to Tanner Hall's Redbull party at Blush nightclub where we hooked up with another kiwi mate and snow celeb Hamish Ackland there with his girl Hannah out to tell the world about MONS ROYALE the latest in pimped out snow underwear. Good times were there to be had especially when we found the private table with a bottle of Vodka and Rum with mixers all there to be had Top cut a top vegas short along time later it was 10.30 am as we walked out of another club into the sunshine and traffic. Time for breakfast. Gotta love vegas!

The last show in Vegas....

For years now Chris and I have sworn to go and partake in the notorious Las Vegas Ski+Snowboard show. 2009 was our last opportunity as next year the show moves to denver and the stories of Vegas will stay in Vegas forever.

Unfortunately my wing man Chriso's bad knee prevented him from making the holy pilgrimage, so instead and in true last minute impromptu kiwi style I flew off to foriegn shores in the company of Hamish (Rossignol NZ distributor and fellow ski buddy) to check out the latest and greatest from Rossignol and all that Vegas had to offer .

Hitting Vegas at 4pm is not a pretty sight, the fact our hotel looked like Disneyworld was...let the crazyness of Vegas begin.....
